The eDiscovery Specialist will support Civil Division staff manage a wide range of eDiscovery tools and workflows and will be tasked with providing 1:1 support on the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) processes.  The eDiscovery Specialist will help manage and maintain our existing tools by performing periodic systems testing, assisting staff in adhering to data hygiene practices and updating processes and guidelines as needed. The ideal candidate has demonstrated knowledge of the civil litigation practices, the legal hold process, and has had experience with at least one eDiscovery review tool.  

 

This role will report to the eDiscovery Manager and will support City Attorneys, section Paralegals, Public Disclosure Officers, IT staff, client contacts, outside counsel, and third-party vendors to ensure that eDiscovery processes run smoothly. This role will not manage their own caseload but will act as the subject matter expert and power-user for our eDiscovery tools and processes to provide technical support to litigation teams.
