BS degree or equivalent experience required, preferably in Management Information Systems or Computer Science.
7+ years’ experience in large scale technology delivery (focus on SaaS), technical project management, vendor management, people management, budget management and business analysis.
5+ years’ experience managing a team of product owners, functional and technical resources, including offshore resources.
Legal domain experience of both Legal process and technology including best practices and market available solutions is required; experience with Safety & Security technology is also preferred.
Direct, in-house experience serving in a technology enablement role within a Global Fortune 500 Legal Department is highly preferred.
Strong working knowledge of Legal functions and supporting systems / providers (i.e., matter management, electronic billing, eDiscovery, contract management, patent management, employee stock management, legal document management, vendor management and managed services)
Expert knowledge of systems development life cycle (SDLC), including proven experience in implementing Legal software applications.
Ability to work in Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery models.
Agile product owner experience a plus.
Product Owner Certification (CSPO or Pragmatic Marketing) a plus.
Highly proficient in Teams, MS-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project.
